This is a tech test of the Isogenic Game Engine (alpha version 0.0.2), utilizing the HTML5 canvas as the draw space.

In recent tech tests, I record the engine MOVING over 2,000 sprites on the screen at the same time and also displaying loads of tiles and background items behind the 2,000 sprites.

Each little sprite person will seek out a “pavement” tile and after “walking” to it, will then find another random pavement tile and walk to that, over and over like a crazed ant.

The engine allows the creation of isometric games in a browser window without the need for any third-party plugins such as Adobe Flash or Microsoft Silverlight.

The Isogenic Game Engine is written entirely in Javascript and what you see on screen is pure HTML with Canvas elements as viewports to the engines’ world.
